Hands-On Learning for Curious, Creative Young Minds

More Than STEM

Building curious thinkers, confident creators, and young leaders through hands-on learning.

The STEAM Explorers Program is an educational enrichment program for students in grades K–5 that brings together science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics, creativity, communication, and leadership.

Through hands-on projects, challenges, and collaborative activities, students learn to explore ideas, solve problems, make decisions, build, experiment, communicate clearly, and confidently share their work.

Our goal is not simply to teach academic and technical skills. We want students to discover their strengths, develop curiosity and independence, and become confident thinkers, creators, collaborators, and young leaders.

Weekly Classes

Families can choose the days and subjects that best fit their child’s interests and schedule.

    Logic, Mathematics & Strategic Thinking

Students explore mathematics through puzzles, logic challenges, strategy games, patterns, and real-world problem-solving.

They learn to identify patterns, try different strategies, explain how they reached a solution, make thoughtful decisions, and develop persistence when a problem is challenging.

Students also practice taking turns leading activities and explaining strategies to their classmates.

    Creative Thinking, Design & Leadership

Students learn how to turn an idea into a real project.

They explore the creative design process by identifying problems, brainstorming solutions, creating plans, building prototypes, testing ideas, and making improvements.

Along the way, students practice teamwork, decision-making, giving and receiving feedback, and presenting their ideas to others.

    Robotics, Creative Projects & Engineering

Wednesday is an extended project day that gives students more time to explore creative and technical projects.

    Robotics
Students build and program age-appropriate robotic models while exploring basic concepts such as sequencing, movement, sensors, mechanical systems, and cause and effect.

    Arts, Crafts & Creative Exploration
Students use art and craft materials to develop imagination, visual thinking, fine motor skills, and creative expression. Projects may also connect with their STEM and engineering work.

    Engineering & Construction
Students design and build structures, test materials, solve construction challenges, and improve their designs based on what they discover.

During collaborative projects, students rotate through roles such as team leader, designer, builder, materials manager, tester, and presenter, giving every child an opportunity to contribute and lead.

    Art, Communication & Presentation Skills

Students use art, storytelling, discussion, and presentation activities to develop confidence and learn how to communicate their ideas effectively.

They practice organizing their thoughts, speaking in front of a group, explaining projects, answering questions, listening to others, and using voice, posture, and eye contact effectively.

    Robotics, Teamwork & Innovation

Students combine robotics, engineering, logical thinking, creativity, and teamwork through individual and group challenges.

They build and program robotic models, test their designs, solve problems, make improvements, divide responsibilities, make decisions as a team, and present their completed projects.

LEADERSHIP IN EVERY CLASS

Students practice leadership every day through rotating roles, decision-making, goal setting, responsibility, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. Every child has the opportunity to lead and collaborate.

PROJECT-BASED LEARNING

The curriculum is organized into four 18-week modules over two academic years. Students complete individual and team projects and present a final project at the end of each module to showcase their skills.

BUILD CONFIDENCE. DISCOVER STRENGTHS.

We help students discover what they enjoy, recognize their strengths, and become confident thinkers, creators, and leaders who are ready to take on future challenges.
