At the center of the story is Horton the Elephant, who discovers the tiny world of Whoville on a speck of dust. Although no one else can hear the Whos, Horton is determined to protect them, even when everyone around him thinks he’s being ridiculous. At the same time, he finds himself responsible for an abandoned egg and discovers just how far he is willing to go to keep a promise.

Along the way, audiences encounter the mischievous Cat in the Hat, imaginative young Jojo, devoted Gertrude McFuzz, glamorous Mayzie La Bird, and many more unforgettable characters from the extraordinary world of Dr. Seuss.
