December was a busy month! The premier of "The Winter" and holiday quests were sold out, the Annual Winter Craft Fair was a huge success - crafts from 15 talented vendors, over 150 shoppers within 5 hours and $678 in donations raised for our youth program! And the highlight of the holiday season, our magical Yolka (traditional holiday play) that delighted the kids and adults. This year, within a two-week span, we performed 28 holiday plays in our theater and at local daycares. Our volunteers worked tirelessly to bring the wonder and magic to audiences. The smiles on the kids' (and grown ups) faces and the sparkle in their eyes fueled our volunteers to reignite these wonderful feeling time and time again to the audience's delight. Reading the reviews in the evenings or while breaking between shows (yes, naps were there) energized us for the upcoming shows.
All this would not be possible without the generosity of our donors. Giving Tuesday started off this month with a generous offer from donors who wish to remain anonymous to triple the donations coming through Paypal Giving (and cash/check donations) up to $1,500. We have raised $1,150 for the Giving Tuesday campaign, which, amounted to $4,150 with matching funds and remaining donation from anonymous donors! At a time when we are covering two lease payments for almost one year now and construction expenses for the new space are mounding up, community's support really makes a huge difference for us and reaffirms that our community needs us as much as we need them - together, we make this magic happen!
Декабрь был насыщенным месяцем! Билеты на премьеру «Зимы» и новогодние квесты были полностью распроданы, ежегодная зимняя ярмарка успешно прошла не смотря на погоду — поделки от 15 талантливых умельцев, более 150 покупателей за 5 часов и мы собрали $678 в пожертвованиях для нашей молодежной программы! Ну и кончено же, главное событие декабря – наша волшебная Ёлка, которая привела в восторг и детей и взрослых. В этом году за две недели мы отиграли 28 праздников в нашем театре и в местных детских садах. Наши волонтеры поработали на славу и сотворили чудо и волшебство для больших и маленьких. Улыбки и искрящиеся глазки детей (и взрослых) украшали зал. Чтение отзывов по вечерам или в перерывах между сказками заряжало нас энергией для предстоящих выступлений.
Все это становится возможным благодаря щедрости наших доноров. Месяц начался с кампании "Giving Tuesday". Группа доноров предложила утроить пожертвования, поступающие через Paypal Giving и наличными/чеками до $1500. За пару дней, Театр33 получил $1150, которые утроились и пополнились до $4150! Ваша поддержка очень много значит для нас, особенно в это время, когда мы покрываем два арендных платежа в течение уже почти года, а расходы на строительство нового помещения растут. Все волшебство и чудо которое зрители находят в театре мы творим вместе с вами, благодаря вашей поддержке и щедрости!
