Those who know me well, know that the beach is my happy place. I can spend countless hours just wandering, picking up random things that catch my eye: agates, jaspers, shells, glass, twigs. Nature is inspiring - all the colors, shapes, textures are mesmerizing. And then I come back to my desk, refreshed and ready to dive head first into another type of search, the constant quest to find new grants, sponsors, donors and supporters for Theare33. This quote by Konstantin Stanislavski served as an inspiration for my blog post:

So, here are am, searching with all the stubbornness in me. We have been blessed with an unprecedented $60,000 matching gift, where an anonymous donor will match 1:1 every dollar we raise through individual donations by September 30th. That means new lights and grid system that seemed like a dream, new employment opportunities and class offerings, new programs for kids with special needs and seniors, scholarships, free tickets, free events, and seasons full of quality live theatre for audiences of all ages! But I need YOU!
We have raised $36,084 so far, or 60% of the $60K. That leaves $24K, but I believe WE can do it - every dollar doubles your contribution and is tax deductible, too. Should you want to contribute, we are adopting the "raise the paddle" individual benefits, which include tickets, merchandize and concessions, through the end of September:
