Theatre33 Opens Auditions for 2025–26 Season: Your Moment Starts Now

Theatre33 is thrilled to announce open auditions for our highly anticipated 2025–26 season! Whether you’re a seasoned performer or stepping onto the stage for the first time, this is your chance to bring bold stories to life and become part of our growing multilingual theatre community.

From laugh-out-loud comedies to emotionally rich dramas, this season offers a wide variety of roles across multiple languages. We are proud to be one of the few theatres in the Pacific Northwest committed to multilingual performance, and we welcome actors of all backgrounds and experience levels to audition.

What to Expect

Auditions are by registration only and will include:

• Cold reads from scripts

• A brief improvisation or movement-based sketch

• A prepared 1–2 minute monologue (you may use material from the actual production or a similar character)

If you plan to audition for a play in English, your monologue must be in English. For non-English plays, you’ll be expected to learn your lines in the language of the production (fluency not required).

🎭 Special Notes for Musical or Physical Productions

For certain productions, you may also be asked to:

• Prepare a short song or excerpt from the show

• Demonstrate your dancing skills — either with a prepared piece or through improvised movement

You’ll be asked to select which productions you’d like to be considered for. Please review all rehearsal and performance dates ahead of time to avoid scheduling conflicts.

Multilingual Opportunities

Theatre33 specializes in multilingual productions. Some roles will require memorization in Russian or English — but don’t worry, you don’t have to be fluent. What matters most is your passion, willingness to learn, and presence on stage.

English-language productions will require your monologue and cold reads to be in English.
